Introduction to the User Agreement

 Hyphen welcomes you and informs you that you will find below the terms and conditions regulating your use of this store and all the legal effects that result from your use of the store’s services over the Internet through this electronic platform. Any person’s use of the store, whether they are a consumer of the store’s service or product or otherwise, constitutes their approval and acceptance of all articles and provisions of this agreement. This agreement applies to all types of dealings between the consumer and Hyphen. This agreement is considered valid and effective as soon as you agree to it and begin registering in the store in accordance with Article Ten of the Saudi Electronic Transactions System.

1- Introduction and Definitions

The above preamble is considered an integral part of this agreement. Below are the meanings and definitions of the main phrases used in this agreement:

  1. (Store) This definition includes all forms of the store on the Internet, whether it is an electronic application, a website, or a commercial store.
  2. (Consumer) The person who engages in electronic commerce with the desire to obtain the products or services provided by Hyphen through its electronic platform.
  3. (Agreement) This phrase means the terms and conditions of this agreement, which govern and regulate the relationship between the parties to this agreement.

2 - Consumer Legal Capacity


  1. The consumer acknowledges that they have the legal capacity to deal with the store, or that they are at least eighteen years old.
  1. The consumer agrees that if they violate this article, they will bear the consequences of this violation before others.

3 - Nature of Obligation


  1. Hyphen’s commitment to consumers is to provide (the service or product).
  2. Hyphen may provide other services, such as after-sales services or other related services, depending on the nature and type of (service or product) required by the consumer.

4 - Rules for Use


  1. The consumer is obligated to use Hyphen’s electronic platform in accordance with public morals and the regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  1. When purchasing a service or product from Hyphen, the consumer is obligated not to use this service or product in a manner that violates public morals and the regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

5 - Accounts and Registration Obligations


Once you apply to join Hyphen as a user, you are obligated to disclose specific information and choose a username and secret password. By doing so, you agree to:

  1. Be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password, and to notify Hyphen immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  2. Accept that Hyphen is not responsible for any loss due to unauthorized use of your account.
  3. Use your account personally, and accept full responsibility for any activity under your account.
  4. Provide accurate and up-to-date information about yourself when registering.
  5. Allow Hyphen to treat your personal information with complete confidentiality.
  6. Accept that Hyphen has the right to suspend or cancel your account if false or misleading information is provided.

6- Electronic Communications and Official Means of Communication:


  1. Commnication will take place via the email registered on the platform.
  2. The consumer agrees that electronic communication substitutes written communication for legal purposes.
  3. Hyphen may send general messages to all consumers or specific users for notifications or updates.

7 - Amendments to the Terms of Use and Fees:


  1. If any clause of this agreement is canceled, the remaining articles will remain in effect.
  2. This agreement may be amended from time to time as necessary.
  3. Hyphen may impose fees based on the products, services, or taxes imposed by the state.
  4. Hyphen reserves the right to modify, increase, or reduce fees as per the terms of this agreement.

8 - Payment and Settlement Services:


  1. Hyphen provides a payment system through its partners, enabling online transactions.
  2. Hyphen determines product pricing based on market value.
  3. Hyphen provides invoices and receipts for all transactions.

9 - Intellectual Property:


  1. All intellectual property rights of Hyphen belong fully to the company.
  2. The consumer agrees to respect Hyphen’s intellectual property rights, including its name, logo, and brand symbols.

10 - Store Responsibility:


  1. Hyphen commits to conducting its business in accordance with the regulations of Saudi Arabia.
  2. Hyphen does not bear responsibility for claims arising from errors, negligence, or third-party services such as shipping companies.

11 - Restricting Access or Membership:


Hyphen may suspend or cancel the consumer’s membership or restrict access to its services at any time, without warning, for any reason.

13 - Applicable Law:


This agreement is governed by the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

13 - General Provisions:


  1. The Arabic language is the primary language for interpreting this agreement.
  2. Prices for products and services may be modified from time to time.
  3. Hyphen may introduce temporary promotional or marketing offers, which may be modified or canceled at any time.
  4. The agreement remains in effect unless terminated by Hyphen management.
